Highlights of the Windsor bus tour include:•Windsor castle – There’s been a castle at this location since the 11th Century!•Eton & Datchet - Both beautiful examples of quaint English villages.•The Long Walk - Hop-off the bus and walk back into Windsor for stunning views of the castle. The iconic Windsor Castle sits at the heart of the picturesque area and has been a family home to British Kings and Queens for over 1,000 years. On the 19th May 2018, the Castle will take centre stage as St George’s Chapel is the venue for the wedding of HRH Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.
Both Harry & Meghan have long connections with the town - Harry attended school at neighbouring Eton College & it's been reported that Meghan's great-great-great grandmother was a 'royal maid' at Windsor Castle around 1850!
The tour will also pass by the illustrious Eton College which has seen many well-known past students including 19 British Prime Ministers, members of the Royal Family (including Harry & his brother William) as well as famous actors such as Eddie Redmayne, Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston.
Whilst you’re in Windsor on our tours you can watch the guards march along Windsor High Street to Windsor Castle for the Changing the Guard ceremony, as well as paying a visit to Windsor Farm Shop to buy products produced on the Royal Farms or enjoy a traditional Cream Tea.
