July and August Race Meetings at Ascot Will Remain Closed to the General Public

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and following government directives, regrettably our Summer Mile Racing Weekend (10th-11th July) and the QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend (24th-25th July) fixtures will not open to the general public in 2020. The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup and Concert (8th August) will also not be taking place and will instead be replaced by a standard raceday, without a concert, also held behind closed doors.
Should racing go ahead behind closed doors, the Summer Mile Racing Weekend will now take place on Saturday 11th July only and QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend will be held on 25th – 26th July.

Racegoers are welcomed back to Ascot for the first time since the Royal Meeting. The curtain-raiser to our Summer Mile Racing Weekend, almost £2m has been raised for children’s charities by the property industry since the inception of this raceday.

A popular day for entertaining, hospitality packages offer unsurpassed views, five-star fine dining and impeccable service from our Raymond Blanc Academy-trained staff.

Ascot’s manicured lawns are in full midsummer bloom and the grounds are alive with atmosphere making this the perfect day to enjoy the racecourse at its most beautiful.

A seven-race card is followed by the Summer Mile Raceday on Saturday.
